Daisy Hernandez Interview

I was busy at the Center for Third World Organizing's Community Action Training (CAT) over the weekend, but Feministing published a very inspiring interview with one of my favorite writers, ColorLines editor Daisy Hernandez . This woman is amazing. On top of being the editor of the cutting edge race and politics newsmagazine, she also co-edited the anthology Colonize This!: Young Women of Color on Today's Feminism and her personal essays have appeared in anthologies on race and sexuality. I even reached out early last semester to ask for advice and Daisy was accessible enough to speak with me over the phone. So yeah, she's dope. Check her out 'cause she's got a lot of inspiring words on the role of communities of color in the media.
