For those of you heading to the U.S. Social Forum this week, please try to check out the official launch party for myBLOC. BLOC (Building Leadership Organizing Communities) is a national network of young folks working in communities of color to build alliances and transform society. Think Myspace but without the obxious pretense of hook ups and cat fights. This week myBLOC also becomes a public site, so run and set up an account. It's really a great way for organizers across the country to keep in touch, and the broader the network, the stronger the alliances.
