But on a related note, blue has subconsciously become my 2009 color. My worn-out addidas classic windbreaker is blue, I have two new blue hoodies (sorry, Kirk), I got a new blue iPod, and my shoes are black and blue. I've never been particularly fond of the color blue, and get annoyed that it's every other person's favorite color by default. But I feel like it describes my year perfectly so far: hopelessly optimistic yet melancholy.
Go blue.
